About
VPI Technology is a multi-discipline technology firm, specializing in electronic design services, engineering, prototyping, certification and testing services, and electronics manufacturing. As a product development partner, we perform full, turnkey, and single-stage electronic product development.
We assemble our in-house design engineering staff into teams of experts in a wide range of disciplines. They perform high-quality product realization using electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing engineering.
We specialize in new product development for cutting-edge technologies and innovative products, including connected devices (wireless design and IoT), embedded technology, consumer electronics, RF/wireless design, medical device design, and government and military programs.

VPI's laboratory division conducts certification and testing for electronic devices to Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Industry Canada (IC), Conformité Européene (CE), and UL standards. We focus on three main types of testing: Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), including 5GHz Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) testing; Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC); and Safety testing. We are accredited through the National Voluntary Laboratories Accreditation Program (NVLAP) (Lab Code: 100272) to the ISO 17025 standard.
Domestic low-volume manufacturing through VPI is conducted at our manufacturing facility in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. We also source, kit, and coordinate manufacturing with offshore manufacturing facilities for high-volume assembly. In such cases, we manage the manufacturing process and ensure quality production.
Our initials, VPI, stand for Visionary Products Inc. This name is representative of the work we do for our clients - we strive to provide visionary design and engineering services for your products, projects, and programs. VPI is certified to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
