More and more devices use wireless connections to communicate. There are a number of Radio Frequency (RF) modules on the market, each with its strengths and weaknesses. Some of the more well-known modules make cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity possible. Connectivity to the internet and other devices is becoming increasingly more common. This type of connectivity is frequently called the Internet of Things or IoT.

VPI Engineering provides RF consulting, circuit design services, and complete RF product design. Our RF communication systems use protocols such as Zigbee and Z-Wave, or we can implement discrete RF designs. Discrete RF design combines generalized parts to perform the function of an RF module.

One of the benefits of letting us design the wireless communications for your device or system is that we don't need to start from scratch. We maintain a library of standard RF communication modules that can be quickly integrated for specific applications. However, VPI can design a custom radio for your product to take advantage of lower bill of material costs.
